Licensed Practical Nurses

Licensed Practical Nurses work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.  They are part of the team that is assigned to care for clients at home who need skilled or clinical care.

Services include wound care, dressing changes, vaccination, medication administration, anticoagulation monitoring, vital signs monitoring, diabetic care and observation.

When directed by the Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical nurse can also administer IV therapies, orthopedics, pulmonary care, patient and client-family education, nutrition planning, and dietary supervision.
